May 11th Trading Log (Updates):

Current Trades: Sold 1,000 BABA shares at 85.43, sold 1,000 TLT shares at 105.50, sold the 40 MSFT puts at 12.9, sold 1,000 BABA shares at 86.25, sold the 10 NVDA puts at 29.2, sold 1,000 BABA shares at 87.30, sold 20 AAPL Jul puts at 7.25, bought 40 QQQ Sep 325 puts at 14.85, bought 30 more QQQ puts at 14.45, sold 1,000 BABA shares at 88.30, bought 50 AAPL Jul puts at 6.3, and bought 30 more QQQ puts at 13.8 --------- I plan to focus on trading only QQQ and AAPL puts tomorrow. QQQ closed at 326 and AAPL at 174. QQQ is up 25% and AAPL up 40% this year. They may rise a little higher, e.g. QQQ to 330, but then expect a significant pullback, e.g. 15 to 20 points. So, I plan to load up on those puts and also take advantage of volatility to lock in some gains. I set the portfolio stop loss below, in case I'm wrong. However, after such big gains this year, I expect some profit taking soon.

My portfolio is at $2,835,000 including $2,498,300 in cash.

Calls Contracts-Shares Long

TLT 1,000 shares

Puts Contracts-Shares Short

QQQ Sep 325 2023 100
AAPL Jul 175 2023 100
AAPL Aug 175 2023 40

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss at $2,600,000. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks can go straight up month after month.
