Sep 22nd Trading Log (Updates):

Current Trades: Bought 1,000 more ARKK shares at 40.00, bought 20 SPY Nov 375 calls at 16.5, bought 1,000 more ARKK shares at 39.25, bought 10 more SPY 380 calls at 13.7, bought 2,000 more HAL shares at 26.90, bought 40 BABA Nov 90 calls at 3.9, bought 20 more SPY 375 calls at 15.8, bought 20 more SPY 380 calls at 13.2, sold 20 SPY 380 calls at 14, and sold 20 SPY 380 calls at 14.2 ---------- Indicators are about even, e.g. sentiment is extreme (18% bullish and 61% bearish), short positions are high, and the daily NYMO (negative 93) and its MAs are low, which are bullish, and SPX had a weekly bearish engulfing last week, the weekly RSI is 39 (30 is typically a strong buy signal), and the 200 week EMA is 3,686 (SPX closed at 3,758), which can be bearish, etc.. I plan to continue focusing on the four stocks below and buy on pullbacks, because there may be enough volatility to trade and plan to build up cash, in case of a further pullback. I suspect, at some point, e.g. in October, there will be a powerful short covering rally.

My portfolio is at $1,925,000 including $1,400,500 in cash.

Calls Contracts-Shares Long

SPY Nov 375 2022 40
SPY Nov 380 2022 30
HAL 4,000 shares
ARKK 6,000 shares
BABA Nov 90 2022 40
BABA Jan 90 2023 100

Puts Contracts-Shares Short

None

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss suspended. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks can go straight up month after month.
