Aug 11th Trading Log (Updates):

Current Trades: Bought 10 more SPY 420 puts at 13.15, bought 20 AAPL Oct 170 puts at 7.3, sold the 1,000 BABA shares at 95.00, sold 2,000 SLB shares at 36.30, bought 10 more SPY 410 puts at 9.9, sold 10 BABA calls at 11.9, bought 20 more AAPL 170 puts at 6.9, bought 10 more SPY 420 puts at 12.9, sold 10 BABA calls at 12.5, bought 10 more SPY 410 puts at 9.4, sold 2,000 SLB shares at 36.75, bought 10 BABA calls back at 11.45, sold 20 AAPL 170 puts at 8, sold 10 SPY 410 puts at 10.8, and sold 10 SPY 410 puts at 11.1 --------- AAPL RSI is overbought above 74. I expect at least a period of volatility soon, e.g. AAPL falling five points and trade in a range. SPX RSI above 70. SPX reached the 50% retracement level at 4,227. From here, support is 4,100 and resistance is the 61.8% Fibonacci at 4,360, although more volatility expected. Given inflation still high, a pullback is more likely.

My portfolio is about $1,805,000 including $1,590,000 in cash.

Calls Contracts-Shares Long

BABA Jan 100 2023 30

Puts Contracts-Shares Short

SPY Oct 410 2022 30
SPY Oct 420 2022 50
AAPL Oct 165 2022 100
AAPL Oct 170 2022 20

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss suspended. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks can go straight up month after month.
