Mar 5th Trading Log (Fri Trading Plan):
The daily NYMO (up 49 to negative 39 yesterday and down 33 today to negative 72) and Fear Greed Index (at 9) suggest an uptrend, perhaps to SPY 320 over the next few weeks. However, if SPY opens low, or pulls-back, I'll buy March 6 calls, which expire in one day. There may be enough volatility to make big gains. VXX more than doubled, which equals prior steep sell-offs. TLT puts may be a buy Friday.
My portfolio is at $270,000 including $96,900 in cash.
