Aug 5th Trading Log (Premarket):
China retaliated with a Yuan depreciation of 6.93 to 7.03 to the dollar and stopping agriculture imports. S&P futures are down over 30 and the 10 year bond yield is down from 1.85% to 1.76%. The faster the market moves, the better for options trading. The daily NYMO closed at negative 41 Friday. I’ll be looking at TLT weekly puts and SPY weekly calls, along with adding more calls and more puts to my holdings.
My portfolio is over $710,000 including $262,500 in cash.

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss raised to $600,000. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since the early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups.” |
