Fri Apr 18th-Week of Options Expiration

I know some are sad not buying GOOG calls before earnings, e.g. Apr 500 calls, which rose from $0.50 at the close yesterday ($0.10 the low yesterday) to $35.00 at the open today. So, $5,000 would have been $350,000. However, if GOOG opened "only" 40 points higher, the calls would have been worth about zero. Nonetheless, it seems, GOOG was the play for the quarter. The weekly chart may have given a clue.
