Sep 15th Trading Log (Recap and Thu Trading Plan):
Basically, I took advantage of volatility to buy and sell calls (on different stocks), sell puts to build-up cash, and trade puts. The CPI and Unemployment Claims data will be reported before the market open tomorrow. Both the Dow and Nasdaq rallied to "primary" resistance (see page one of Chart Room). The Nasdaq Oscillator 20 day MA is still at a very high level, which is bearish. The TICK 100 unit MA is still below it's 200 unit MA, which is also bearish. I still believe, the market will be lower in a month. So, I plan to buy Oct or Nov puts on bounces (and sell on dips). There may be an opportunity to trade SPX Sep options tomorrow or Fri.
My portfolio is at $830,000 including over $645,000 in cash.
