Sep 10th Trading Log (Recap and Next Week Trading):
I sold my PSFT options for a large net gain, traded EBAY puts for a large gain, sold INTC calls for gains, etc. However, my QQQ and EBAY puts fell before the close (QQQ closed at about 35 1/4 and EBAY closed at over 90). Nasdaq rallied to about 1,900, which is resistance, i.e. previous lows and the bearish engulfing two months ago. VXN (Nasdaq volatility index) fell below 20, which is near its all time low. Also, the TICK MAs are very high, which may be bearish short-term (see page one of Chart Room). Next week is options expiration week. I'll post some Sep Max Pain expirations this weekend. There may be excellent opportunities to trade Sep options, which will have huge leverage, next week.
My portfolio is over $835,000 including over $675,000 in cash.
