Sep 9th Trading Log (Recap and Fri Trading Plan):

My SMH calls and EBAY puts went way up. So, I sold all the options. I then bought INTC calls, since INTC lagged the rally, and bought EBAY puts, on bounces, since EBAY may retest today's low. Also, I also took advantage of volatility to buy or sell other options, while moving my portfolio towards optimization, in a dynamic market. Dow resistance continues to be the downtrend line (see page one of Chart Room). The volatility indices, e.g. VIX and VXN, continue to stay low and fell today. Perhaps, the market will fall into a downtrend over the next month or two. I believe INTC can rally at least another point. So, I plan to buy INTC calls on dips. Also, I plan to buy DIA and QQQ puts on bounces, to hedge INTC calls. EBAY may fall to 85 or lower and OIH (oil index) may fall next week, after 9/11.

My portfolio is over $830,000 including about $685,000 in cash.
