Jan 25th Trading Log (Updates):
Morning Trades: Bought 10 more SPY calls at 21, bought 20 more SPY calls at 20, bought 20 more SPY calls at 19, sold 20 SPY calls at 21, bought 20 more QQQ calls at 11, bought 20 QQQ Feb 340 calls at 16, bought 20 more QQQ 340 calls at 15, sold 20 QQQ 340 calls at 17. Current Trades: Sold 20 SPY calls at 22, sold 20 QQQ 350 calls at 11.1, sold 10 SPY calls at 23.7, sold 20 QQQ 350 calls at 12.1, sold 10 SPY calls at 25, and bought 20 QQQ Mar 340 calls at 20 -------- MSFT reported strong earnings, but fell to 270 and then very gradually rose to 300 and now around 295, causing my QQQ calls to end lower in after-hours. Technical indicators are still very oversold, including the daily NYMO at negative 72 and SPX and QQQ RSIs near 25 (below 30 oversold). The Fed announcement is tomorrow, and I plan to buy SPY and QQQ calls on pullbacks.
My portfolio is about $715,000 including $623,400 in cash.

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss suspended. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks can go straight up month after month.[ |
