Next Week Trading (Jan 3rd):
AAPL has defied all technical, fundamental, and sentiment indicators. It's more than three standard errors above mean, earnings declined last year, while stock price doubled, and everyone seems to be on one side of the well loved stock. However, it may trade around 300 next week or begin a downtrend. So, I plan to trade Jan 10 300 puts.
My portfolio is about $275,000 including $122,300 in cash.
Calls Contracts-Shares Long
VXX Jan 14 200 weekly 10th
Puts Contracts-Shares Short
SPY Apr 315 2020 50
AAPL Jan 290 400 weekly 10th
AAPL Jan 295 100 weekly 10th
Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss lowered to $100,000. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since the early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups.” |
