Next Week Trading (Jun 15th):
Both the bond and stock markets rose together on some days recently. The bond market, in particular, is too high overreacting to slowing economic growth, Fed cuts, and geopolitical issues, along with predicting a recession soon. So, I expect a substantial TLT pullback. Also, OIH may be close to being “washed out.” I plan to take advantage of volatility to build-up cash, since financial markets have an irrational feel to them, and don’t plan on adding new positions, except for HAL and perhaps GE calls.
My portfolio is over $710,000 including $245,200 in cash.
Calls Contracts-Shares Long
OIH Jul 13 2019 200
OIH Jul 14 2019 500
OIH 10,000 shares
Puts Contracts-Shares Short
TLT Jul 130 2019 800
TLT Aug 130 2019 800
SPY Aug 285 2019 50
SPY Sep 285 2019 50
QQQ Jul 185 2019 20
Portfolio at $100,000 on Mar 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss raised to $600,000. Stop loss will be strictly enforced and extreme caution will be taken if triggered to avoid large losses and preserve capital in "irrational" market periods. |
