Aug 18th Trading Log (update):

I sold 50 AMAT Sep 17 puts at $7,500 (over 15 3/4), and bought 100 SMH Sep 30 calls at $10,000 (over 29 1/4). Premarket: I plan to sell the AMAT puts, after the open, since they may rise higher. Also, SMH is expected to open higher and DIA is expected to open lower. So, I may sell some SMH calls and DIA puts (to continue building-up cash). Oil is over $47 a barrel. A fall in oil prices may send the Dow higher (it's somewhat surprising oil stocks are significantly off their highs). Also, I may buy more PSFT calls (see Top Stock Picks).

My portfolio is at $900,000 including about $750,000 in cash.
